Another addition to the command center that is! Tim was able to make another frame out of oak that we had in our garage.
He also had a random piece of sheet metal...
He painted it black with chalkboard paint. (I am now in love with this paint!!)
and Voila! He has one more to do for this corner! This is the perfect place for lunch menus, invitations, and so on ! I'm so excited to have a place to organize some of our papers!
My favorite part is the drawer pulls, similar to the ones in our previous old kitchen that came with the house, that he used to hold chalk or magnets! Thank goodness I spend so much time on the internet researching these things!
How do you handle all of the paper in your house? We are still working on the problem!

How do I handle all the paper in my home? Repeatedly! That is a most unfortunate answer. I have a friend who says the secret dealing with the paper that comes into the house is to handle each piece only ONCE! You toss it, file it, answer it, mail it onward, and never handle it again.
ReplyDeleteI must handle every piece at least ten times, as I shuffle through a pile searching for this bill, that coupon, that card I need to acknowledge, or whatever.
Some days I feel absolutely buried in paper. So if you figure out how I can get out from under it, send me your solution.
Now I have to go scoop up a paper avalanche in the laundry room.
This is such a cute idea. Thank you so much for sharing with Wednesdays Adorned From Above Link Party last week. This weeks Link Party is opened at
