Closet dreams...

Looking at my not-so-big, but bigger-than-we-started-with-in-our-old-house master bedroom closet, I am trying to come up with a solution so that we don't continuously have clothes on the floor. I wish I could blame my children for this, but truth is..it's mostly me. I will try on 500 things and place them on the floor or in the laundry basket that I shove in there because I was too lazy/tired to put the clean clothes away.

This would be my dream:  How sweet would this organization be not to mention all of those clothes!  Ah....

The closet below is wonderful especially considering the space. Let's be honest, how much of our problem may be because there is too much clutter!  I'm sure I could get rid of a lot of clothing! (p.s.IHeart Organzing is one of my absolute favorite blogs!)

Another favorite site of mine is A Bowl Full Of Lemons . This is her closet.  Mine is not that big, but my heart skips a beat when I see those shoe boxes.  (My husbands brain just processed how many I would need times the cost of each one. Don't worry honey, I didn't order them!)

So this weekend, I'm going to work on our closet a little!  Let's see what organization I can come up with!  Wish me luck! : )

  1. I thought that first photo was of your current closet! LOL

I am one. And I try and try and try to organize my closets. Still I end up with a pile of shoes on the floor. I have a summer closet and a winter closet. When I am looking for a big, bulky sweater, I find it has taken itself up the hall and snuggled in among summer linens and seersuckers. I can never catch my clothes marching from one closet to the other, but they do it all the time. Must happen while I am at gym.

If you ever find a perfect shoe rack, let me know.

    1. At least I'm not the only dreamer if you thought that was mine! : )

    2. You know what? I think you two are so fabulous at creating the perfect home that it seemed entirely possible to me that first picture was YOUR closet. Then I read the text . . . .
